2nd Mauro Pane Memorial

Lo scorso Marzo, all’Autodromo Tazio Nuvolari, si è celebrato il ricordo di un grande pilota, preparatore di Formula 1 del passato e soprattutto di una splendida persona. Lui era Mauro Pane. Il noto titolare della ditta “F1 Storiche”, scomparso prematuramente nel Febbraio del 2014, non è stato di certo dimenticato da tutte le persone che gli erano vicine e dagli appassionati di automobilismo e grazie al padre, Marcello Pane, e ad alcuni amici stretti come Luigi Moreschi e suo figlio Ruggero, è stato organizzato un raduno di auto storiche di ogni genere.

Last March, at the Autodromo Tazio Nuvolari, it was celebrated the memory of a great driver, tuner of historic Formula 1 cars and especially of a wonderful human being. He was Mauro Pane. The famous owner of the company “F1 Storiche”, who prematurely left us in February 2014, has not been forgotten by all the people who were close to him and by all the automotive enthusiasts and thanks to his father, Marcello Pane, and some close friends like Luigi Moreschi and his son Ruggero, it has been organized a meeting of historic cars of all kinds.

un’auto tanto strana quanto affascinante, guidata con successo da Mauro stesso nelle gare del campionato Masters Historic Formula One.

In fondo allo schieramento si trovava la Lola T370 ex Graham Hill del team Embassy Hill

e nel mezzo due splendide Brabham, una BT42 motorizzata dal classico Ford Cosworth DFV V8

e una BT45 con motore Alfa Romeo boxer 12 cilindri.

Entrambe le auto sono state portate dal gentleman Manfredo Rossi di Montelera

il quale è sceso in pista al volante di una splendida Lotus 22, insieme alla moglie, Caroline, su una Brabham BT6.

Momento toccante quello della consegna di una targa commemorativa a Marcello Pane. Piloti e appassionati si sono lasciati andare a un lungo e caloroso applauso.

L’evento, per essere solo alla sua seconda edizione, è stato un successo. Vedere da vicino queste auto è un’opportunità che qualsiasi appassionato di motori non dovrebbe farsi sfuggire e speriamo di poter vedere sempre più persone a omaggiare Mauro nel 2016.
