Hirundo

Sono state due gare molto accese quelle della tappa Monzese del Campionato Italiano Gran Turismo, entrambe combattute, in cui i piloti e i team hanno fatto esaltare il pubblico sugli spalti.

There were two great races at the round of Monza of the Italian GT Championship, both hard fought, in which the drivers and the teams lighted up the crowd on the stands.

 

Il secondo round del campionato ha visto ben 26 auto sulla griglia di partenza tra GT3 e GT Cup con anche delle piacevoli novità come la stupenda Nissan GT-R della Nova Race guidata la Lorenzo Bontempelli e Beniamino Caccia.

The second round of the championship have seen 26 cars on the starting grid between GT3 and GT Cup along with a few pleasant news like the beautiful Nissan GT-R of the Nova Race team driven by Lorenzo Bontempelli and Beniamino Caccia.

Tanti anche i piloti famosi che sono stati impegnati sia dentro che fuori la pista, come l’esperto Dindo Capello, al volante della Audi R8 GT3 della Audi Italia.

Alla partenza di gara 1 la Lamborghini Gallardo di Barri è riuscita a tenere la testa della corsa, prendendo un buon margine mentre il resto dei piloti si dava battaglia per il secondo e il terzo posto.

At the start of race 1 the Lamborghini Gallardo of Barri was able to keep the lead, taking a good margin while the rest of the drivers was fighting for the second and third place.

 

Purtroppo per l’Imperiale Racing, appena dopo il cambio pilota, Amici ha subito una foratura al pneumatico anteriore sinistro della sua Lamborghini, lasciando così la testa della corsa alla Porsche di Babini ma anche al pilota della Autorlando le cose non vanno bene e a causa di una toccata che gli fa perdere diverse posizioni si ritrova presto nelle retrovie.

Sadly for the Imperiale Racing, right after the driver change, Amici suffered a puncture to the front left tire of his Lamborghini, leaving the lead of the race to the Porsche of Babini but also for the driver of the Autorlando team things don’t go as planned and due to a small contact that forced him to lose some positions he ends up quickly behind the pack.

 

A fine gara è stata la Ferrari del Team Malucelli, guidata da Necchi e Frassinetti, ad aggiudicarsi gara 1, seguita dall’altra Porsche della Autorlando di Beretta e Carboni e dalla 458 Italia GT3 di Giammaria e Casè.

At the end of race the Ferrari of the Team Malucelli, driven by Necchi and Frassinetti, won race 1, followed by the other Porsche of the Autorlando team of Beretta and Carboni and by the 458 Italia GT3 of Giammaria and Casè.

 

Gara 2 è stata ancora più accesa di gara 1. Alla Prima Variante l’Audi guidata da Mapelli si porta subito in testa, mettendosi dietro il resto del gruppo

Race 2 was even more exciting than race 1. At the Prima Variante the Audi driven by Mapelli takes the lead, keeping behind the rest of the field

 

ma già nel corso del primo giro Gagliardini, con la Porsche del team Ebimotors, riesce a superare l’Audi di Mapelli e inizia a prendere un buon vantaggio sugli avversari. A causa di un incidente all’uscita della Ascari, all’11° giro entra la safety car che ricompatta il gruppo. I due di testa Amici e Mapelli ne approfittano per rientrare ai box ad effettuare il cambio pilota e con le posizioni nuovamente mischiate la gara si accende con ben sei piloti in lizza per la testa della corsa.

The two leading drivers Amici and Mapelli took advantage of the situation to go back into the pitlane to do the mandatory driver change and with the positions once again mixed up the race become once again very exciting with six drivers fighting for the lead.

 

Dopo una serie di contatti al limite del regolamento le due Porsche del team Autorlando, a un solo giro dalla fine, sono incollate tra di loro all’inseguimento di Donativi e alla Prima Variante Beretta sorpassa, con un taglio della chicane, la bianca e celeste Porsche del team Ebimotors.

After a few contacts the two Porsches of the Autorlando team, with just one lap to go, are very close to each other, trying to catch up with Donativi and at the Prima Variante Beretta overtakes, cutting the chicane, the white and light blue Porsche of the team Ebimotors.

 

Nel post gara Beretta viene penalizzato per la manovra e viene retrocesso in seconda posizione, per un podio finale tutto Porsche composto da Donativi-Gagliardini, davanti a Beretta-Carboni e Bianco-Babini.

Due gare spettacolari queste della tappa di Monza del CIGT, con il campionato che si fa sempre più combattuto e avvincente.

Nel corso del weekend si sono corse anche altre gare, tra cui quelle della Porsche Cup Italia.

Entrambe le gare sono state oggetto di battaglie tra Postiglione, Giraudi, Liberati e Cairoli, con gara 1 vinta da Giraudi e gara 2 vinta da Postiglione.

Sicuramente interessante, soprattutto per la varietà della auto in pista, anche il Campionato Italiano Turismo Endurance. In gara 1 a vincere è stata la Seat Leon di Luigi Moccia e Giancarlo Busnelli

Terza la nuova Seat Leon Cup Racer del team Dinamic guidata da Mauro Trentin e Marco Pellegrini.

E infine le ruote scoperte delle Auto GP. Markus Pommer del team Supernova si è aggiudicato gara 1, mentre Kevin Giovesi del team Eurotech gara 2, ma quello che molti spettatori stavano aspettando è stato il podio (terzo posto) in gara 1 da parte della pilota di casa Michela Cerruti, prima donna a finire nella top 3 in questa categoria.

And lastly the open wheelers of the Auto GP series. Markus Pommer of the Supernova team won race 1, while Kevin Giovesi of the Eurotech team won race 2, but what most of the spectators were waiting was the podium (third place) in race 1 of the home driver Michela Cerruti, first woman to finish into the top 3 in this category.

Mancano cinque gare al termine del Campionato Italiano Gran Turismo e l’ultimo appuntamento sarà di nuovo a Monza. Chissà se il dominio Porsche continuerà per tutto il campionato e se a Ottobre vedremo di nuovo gare appassionanti come quelle dello scorso weekend…
