Un anno fa è stata la nebbia a dominare i 2,5km dell’Autodromo di Franciacorta, quest’anno invece è stata la pioggia… la 6 Ore di Franciacorta non è un evento fortunato dal punto di vista metereologico, ma è sicuramente eccitante dal punto di vista del contenuto automobilistico. Infatti in questa edizione 2012 della 6 Ore la qualità delle auto coinvolte è stata come sempre alta.

One year ago it was the fog to dominate the 2,5km of the Autodromo di Franciacorta, but this year was the rain… the 6 Ore di Franciacorta is not a lucky event when it comes to weather, but it’s for sure very exciting from an automotive contents point of view. In fact in this 2012 edition of the 6 Ore, the quality of the cars involved has been, as always, very high.

Veri pezzi di storia sono scesi in pista e non solo per fare una passerella, ma per gareggiare senza esclusione di colpi!

Si sono potute vedere stupende battaglie, come quella tra la piccola Alfa Romeo di Arnaldi

Il funambolico pilota dell’Alfa, Arnaldi, è stato inoltre simpaticamente da noi soprannominato “l’uomo dei gelati” perchè è la prima volta che ci capita di vedere e sentire un’auto da corsa con un carillon che suona mentre gira in pista! Idolo!

The “acrobatic” driver of the Alfa, Arnaldi, has also been affectionately nicknamed “the ice cream man” because for the very first time we’ve seen and heard a racing car with a carillon playing while driving on the track! Hero!

Tra le auto delle categorie minori, sicuramente degno di nota è stato l’impegno del toscano Rocco Lilli al volante della sua Alfa Romeo GT 2000, che nonostante un’auto praticamente stock ha sempre corso al limite

Among the cars of the lower categories, for sure to be noticed the effort of the driver from Tuscany, Rocco Lilli, at the wheel of his Alfa Romeo GT 2000, that despite a basically stock car has always pushed the limit

e del mitico Giuliano Giuliani in coppia con Andrea Castronovo sulla loro bellissima BMW 2002 TI.

Per rimanere in tema di auto storiche è da sottolineare il bellissimo spettacolo messo in scena dai funamboli delle auto da rally e all star. Traversi infiniti hanno scaldato la folla

To remain to talk about historic cars, to be noticed the beautiful show putted together by the “acrobats” of the rally and all stars cars. Endless drifs have warmed up the crowd

e la presenza di auto come la leggendaria BMW M3 E30 Rothmans vincitrice del Tour de Corse nel 1987 hanno reso lo show veramente speciale.

Purtroppo a girare solo il Sabato (causa troppa pioggia la Domenica), le Formula All Star sono state un ingrediente aggiunto molto gradito. Auto stupende come la Ralt RT1 Alfa Romeo di Angelo Sicurella

Unfortunately driving only on Saturday (becuase of the too much rain during Sunday), the Formula All Star were a very appreciated ingredient. Beautiful cars like the Ralt RT1 Alfa Romeo of Angelo Sicurella

e la Formula Ford MRE del simpaticissimo Bruno Pareccini (arrivato in Autodromo con anche una bellissima versione a pedali della sua auto) hanno sfidato l’umido tracciato.

E sempre tra le ruote scoperte, i coraggiosi piloti delle Formula Junior, auto prive di qualsiasi deportanza alare, si sono sfidati in battaglie al limite del grip regalando sia sorpassi che una lunga serie di testacoda.

And always talking about open wheelers, the brave drivers of the Formula Junior, cars without any wings, challenged theirselves in battles at the limit of grip, giving both overtakes a long series of spins.

Ma non erano presenti solo auto storiche e monoposto alla 6 Ore di Franciacorta. Moderne e super performanti GT di diverse categorie si sono sfidate tra i cordoli. A partire dalla leggendaria Audi A4 Superturismo del 1995 della Lella Lombradi Autosport guidata dal giovane pilota Cesare Brusa. Una vera icona dell’automobilismo e del motorport questa A4, che ha mostrato tutta la sua potenza e preparazione tecnica al meglio

But not only historic cars and single seaters were there at the 6 Ore di Franciacorta. Modern and super performing GTs of different categories battled between the kerbs. Starting from the legendary 1995 Audi A4 Supertouring of the Lella Lombardi Autosport driven by the young driver Cesare Brusa. A real automotive and motorsport icon this A4, that showed all its power and technical preparation at its best

Da sottolineare le incredibili performance della Seat Leon Supercopa di Enrico Bettera che è sempre rimasta in battaglia con le due auto citate prima. La grinta del pilota era visibile anche per i meno esperti di automobilismo!

To be noticed the stunning performances of the Seat Leon Supercopa of Enrico Bettera that was always battling with the two cars mentioned above. The determination of the driver was visible even for the less motorsport experts!

Tutta la passione, la grinta e l’ospitalità dei team e dell’Autodromo di Franciacorta sono venuti fuori al meglio in questo weekend di gare.

All the passion, the determination and the hospitality of the teams and of the Autodromo di Franciacorta came out at the best in this racing weekend.
