917, 512, 356, 250… per molta gente questi sono solo numeri, ma a un vero appassionato di auto queste cifre fanno venire la pelle d’oca. Da dove iniziare? Beh, innanzitutto dicendo che siamo in grado di mostrarvi le foto che vedrete nel report e nella gallery solo grazie alla kunoshaer. motorsport&events, che ha organizzato anche quest’anno il track day per privati e piloti professionisti presso l’Autodromo di Monza.

917, 512, 356, 250… for many people these are just numbers, but for a real petrolhead these numbers give goosebumps. Where to start from? Well, first of all saying that we’re able to show you the photos that you’re going to see in this report and in the gallery only thanks to kunoshaer. motorsport&events, that organized also this year the track day for privateers and professional drivers at the Autodromo di Monza.

In realtà è più di un track day, in quanto i privati posso imparare a sfrecciare con dei corsi di guida sportiva, mentre piloti professionisti possono usare questa occasione per sviluppare e testare le loro auto da corsa.

Actually it’s more than a track day, because the privateers can learn to drive fast with some sport driving courses, while the pro drivers can use this occasion to develop and test their racing cars.

Durante la giornata tutte le auto hanno girato insieme, e in pista si sono viste sia auto stradali come Lamborghini Gallardo Superleggera

Come detto prima, anche alcuni piloti professionisti e gentleman drivers sono scesi in pista, come l’equipaggio Pfefferkorn – Dragoun su SLS AMG GT3, che probabilmente stavano testando la loro vettura in previsione della gara di Monza del il 25 Marzo valida per il campionato ECC.

As said before, some professional and gentleman drivers went down on the track too, like the team Pfefferkorn – Dragoun on SLS AMG GT3, that they were probably testing their car for the upcoming ECC race in Monza of the 25th of March.

E questa 996 GT3 RSR la riconoscete? E’ proprio la Porsche del Team Ebimotors, l’ultima 996 ufficiale vincitrice di un evento internazionale FIA GT nel 2006!

And what about this one, can you recognize it? It’s precisely the Porsche of the Team Ebimotors, the last official 996 to win an international FIA GT race in 2006!

Purtroppo rimasta ferma ai box, era però presente anche l’Alfa Romeo155 V6 TI DTM di Tarquini, un sogno a quattro ruote e orgoglio di noi Italiani!

Ora, torniamo un attimo alle cifre magiche citate a inizio report. Le vere protagoniste di questo evento sono state loro, le auto che hanno fatto un pezzo di storia delle corse e non solo. Porsche 917 K, 1970, Team Zitro Racing Suisse; solo pronunciare questo nome per intero fa un certo effetto, figuriamoci vederla correre in pista.

Now, back for a moment to the magic numbers mentioned at the beginning of the report. They’ve been the real stars of this event, the cars that made a piece of the history of the races and more. Porsche 917 K, 1970, Team Zitro Racing Suisse; only pronouncing this name it makes a strange feeling, let alone see it racing on the race track.

L’auto era dotata di un silenziatore con le dimensioni di una grossa valigia Samsonite per rimanere entro il limite dei 100db presente all’Autodromo, ma il sound era comunque stupendo.

The car was supplied with a silencer as big as a large Samsonite bag because of the 100db limit restriction of the Autodromo, but the sound was still amazing.

Larga, bassa e minacciosa, a guardarla frontalmente sembra un ufo!

Altro mostro sacro delle corse, la Ferrari 512BB/LM IMSA GTX. Non eravamo a conoscenza della auto che kunoshaer avrebbe portato in pista e potete immaginare lo stupore nel vedere questa Ferrari tra i cordoli! A ogni passaggio era come tornare negli anni ’80 per un attimo, con il 12 cilindri boxer da 4.9L e 480bhp che cantava sui rettilinei di Monza.

Another giant figure of the races, the Ferrari 512BB/LM IMSA GTX. We weren’t aware of the cars the kunoshaer would have brought and you can imagine the shock at seeing this Ferrari between the kerbs! At every lap it was like coming back in the ’80s for a moment, with the flat 12, 4.9L and 480bhp engine, singing on the straights of Monza.

Per non farsi mancare niente, sono state schierate anche una bellissima Porsche 356 Carrera Abarth GTL

e uno dei capolavori di sempre della casa di Maranello, la Ferrari 250 GT SWB. Semplicemente stupenda.

Siccome questo evento è organizzato privatamente, la lista delle auto schierate è sempre una sorpresa, quindi consigliamo vivamente di tenere sott’occhio il calendario degli eventi di kunoshaer e dell’Autodromo di Monza e di non farvi scappare il prossimo appuntamento, poichè le sorprese non finiscono mai!
