Oltre alla quantità di “VIP”, l’evento ha avuto come particolarità il fatto di utilizzare anche il circuito storico comprendente la vecchia sopraelevata, inserendolo in un tracciato fuori dal tempo e dando luogo a una competizione coinvolgente e suggestiva.

Proprio nella nebbia Andrea Dovizioso è stato tradito dalla sua Peugeot 207 S2000 nei pressi della nostra postazione, obbligandolo al ritiro dalla prova speciale (qui beccato in un momento di… ehm… “sconforto”).

Just in the fog Andrea Dovizioso has been decieved by his Peugeot 207 Super2000 close to our position, forcing him to the withdraw from the special stage (here caught in a moment of… ehm… “discouragement”).

Novità della nona edizione del Monza Rally Show è stata la partecipazione di Max Papis con la sua Nascar (che ha avuto come passeggero anche il mito dell’automobilismo Italiano Alex Zanardi che si è divertito come sempre, un vero fanatico!), una macchina con un rombo e un’accelerazione impressionante! E’ la prima volta che una Stock Car americana arriva in Europa e quale posto migliore del vecchio anello di Monza per debuttare?!

News of the ninth edition of the Monza Rally Show has been the participation of Max Papis with his Nascar (that also hosted as passenger the Italian automotive legend Alex Zanardi that enjoyed the ride as always, a real fanatic!), a car with an incredible grumble and an acceleration! It’s the first time that an american Stock Car comes in Europe and which better place of the old ring of Monza to make the debut?!

Il rally è stato anche occasione per i piloti di rendere omaggio al grande Marco Simoncelli, correndo con il suo 58 in bella vista come per far partecipare anche lui a questo evento al quale si sarebbe sicuramente divertito come tutti gli anni.

The rally has been also the right occasion for the drivers to pay tribute to the great Marco Simoncelli, racing with his 58 in plain sight, like to make also him participating to this event where he would have had fun as every year.

Insomma, un grandissimo evento, con super protagonisti, su un tracciato magico e con delle condizioni metereologiche scomode ma estremamente suggestive: solo un folle potrebbe mancare!!!

In short, a fantastic event, with many stars, on a magic track and with some very uncomfortable but very suggestive weather conditions: you have to be mad to miss it!!!

L’unico dispiacere che ci è nato nel momento del ritorno a casa è che fino all’ anno prossimo non potremo fare altro che contare con impazienza i giorni che ci dividono dalla 10° edizione!

The only bad side that we found while coming back at home is that till next year the only thing we can do is to count with impatience the days that separate us from the 10th edition!
