Cambiare orizzonti, cercando di dare visibilità anche a sport motoristici minori, non è mai una brutta idea, specialmente se si tratta di discipline con tanta diversità di auto come i Formula Challenge.

Changing horizons, trying to give visibility also to minor motorports categories, it’s never a bad idea, especially if they are disciplines with a good variety of cars like the Formula Challenge.

In sostanza, diverse categorie si sfidano sui tempi cronometrati gareggiando in piccoli raggrupamenti su corti tracciati molto tecnici che richiedono grande abilità con il volante e con il pedale dell’acceleratore.

Basically, different categories compete on timed laps racing in small groups on very technical short tracks that require great skills with the steering wheel and with the throttle pedal.

Come il nome “Formula Challenge” può suggerire, le categorie più a loro agio sono quelle delle piccole auto a ruote aperte, dotate di motore motociclistico, e dal peso che varia tra i 300 e 400 kg in base alla cilindrata.

As the name “Formula Challenge” may suggest, the more comfortable categories are the ones of the small open wheelers, equipped with motorbike engine, and with a variable weight between 300 and 400 kgs according to the capacity of the engine.

Il circuito di questo evento era situato in un ampio piazzale, e gli spettatori, nonostante una vera e propria “pioggia di polline”, hanno così avuto l’opportunità di vedere da molto vicino le gare.

The circuit of this event was organized in a large square, and the spectators, despite a real “pollen rain”, have had the chance to watch the races from a close point of view.

Tra le piccole formula c’è stata grande battaglia sui tempi, con i primi due piloti distanziati da appena 1 centesimo di secondo! Graziano Rottini ha vinto

Il raggruppamento 10 era formato dalle auto storiche e la battaglia non è stata molto equilibrata, tanto che il podio era formato da una Porsche 911 in prima posizione,

Comunque, a prescindere dai vincitori ai quali facciamo i complimenti, il Formula Challenge è stato veramente divertente grazie alla diversità delle auto e allo spettacolo che hanno regalato i piloti, senza contare l’imprevisto acquazzone che ha obbligato la sospensione momentanea delle gare!
